Can Delta Education ensure peace of mind homeschooling and accredited matriculation?
Absolutely YES! The "yes" deserves further elaboration:
Delta Education is a product and service provider to parents of homeschoolers. Delta Education is not and does not present itself to be a registered educational body or institution. Parents of learners studying at home must, according to legislation and regulation, apply for registration for homeschooling with the relevant provincial educational department heads, if and only if the requirements and regulations of the Department of Education for such registration are legal and fair. The duty of registration, if the regulation is legal and fair, therefore lies with the parents of homeschoolers and not with the product and service provider. (See section 18: Legal aspects.)
Delta Education as an institution is registered with the Independent Afrikaans Examination Board (OAER) as well as London City & Guilds to offer its clients the necessary products and support services, academically as well as practically/ technically, to acquire success, through the use thereof, in the Umalusi matriculation or Delta matriculation. Delta Education chooses to remain independent of government and political intervention, to develop its own lesson plans and lesson material in accordance with its fundamental principals, to develop according to the needs and requirements of the labour market and business sector, and to offer supporting services in education.
Delta Education's participation in the OAER and London City & Guilds, along with the fact that every learner and family enjoys judicial protection under the umbrella of the Pestalozzi Trust, ensures and guarantees that no Delta Education learner will be deprived or prohibited from successfully completing their homeschooling career with a legal and accredited gr. 12 certificate.
